Minn Kota POWERDRIVE 70/MR 54″ Bow-Mount Trolling Motor
Overview
Minn Kota POWERDRIVE 70/MR 54″ Bow-Mount Trolling Motor is a bow-mount electric trolling motor designed for freshwater. Its 70 lb thrust, 24 V electrical system and 54-inch (137 cm) shaft provide precise boat positioning in wind and current. PowerDrive combines electric steering, a compact Micro Remote, Spot-Lock GPS anchoring and an easy Deploy-Assist mount.
Model and intended use
The 54-inch shaft suits most low- and medium-bow fishing boats.
GPS control and Spot-Lock
The advanced GPS system controls boat position automatically. Spot-Lock compensates for wind and current to hold the selected fishing position. Speed, steering and Spot-Lock can be controlled from the Micro Remote or the Minn Kota mobile app.
Deploy-Assist and efficient power use
The Deploy-Assist lever helps slide the motor into the water and back into the stowed position. Variable speed control and Digital Maximizer deliver only the power required at the selected speed, extending battery run time during slow trolling.
One-Boat Network
With the required network connection, the motor can be integrated with a compatible Humminbird display. Waypoints, routes and motor controls can then be accessed through the One-Boat Network system.
Built-in sonar
This model has no built-in sonar transducer. It can still be integrated with a compatible Humminbird display for navigation and motor control through One-Boat Network.

Battery and installation
Use a correctly sized 24 V deep-cycle AGM or LiFePO4 battery system, marine-grade cable and the specified circuit protection. Select the battery capacity according to boat weight, normal operating speed and required run time. A quick-release bracket is normally sold separately. Inspect the propeller, mount and electrical connections regularly and keep batteries charged.
