Detailed description
GPSMAP 9019 is a premium integrated chartplotter with a 19-inch 4K IPS touchscreen for the glass bridge of larger yachts and powerboats. Edge-to-edge glass, a slim bezel and high-quality materials allow the display to become part of a modern helm. The 3840 × 2160 resolution presents charts, radar, cameras, sonar and engine information with exceptional detail.
The new-generation processor is up to seven times faster than earlier generations. It accelerates chart drawing, menu response, network data and Auto Guidance+ route calculations with an optional Garmin Navionics+ subscription. A worldwide basemap is included, and Garmin Navionics+ or Vision+ detail charts can be added for the operating area.
Connectivity and system expansion
Garmin BlueNet gigabit networking provides high-speed, low-latency communication among multiple chartplotters, radar, cameras, sonar modules and other network devices. It distributes 4K video, sonar, radar and vessel data throughout the boat. HDCP-capable video distribution can present the same video and audio source on different displays and speakers.
NMEA 2000, NMEA 0183 and J1939 integrate engines, autopilot, AIS, VHF radio, instruments, weather and digital switching. OneHelm controls compatible third-party vessel systems from the display. Wi-Fi and ActiveCaptain support software updates and user-data management. Sonar requires a compatible network sonar module and transducer, sold separately.
Installation and operating environment
The IPX7 display is intended for flush or flat mounting. The supplied GPS 24xd NMEA 2000 antenna provides accurate heading and position information even at low speed. The package includes the necessary NMEA 2000 power, T-connectors and termination components, while radar, sonar and other network cabling depends on the system being built.
