Detailed description
ECHOMAP Ultra 2 is a fishing chartplotter with a large, bright and sunlight-readable keyed touchscreen. Touch control provides fast navigation through charts, sonar and menus, while physical keys remain dependable in wet conditions. The 10- and 12-inch models are intended for anglers who want a large sonar image, detailed charts and vessel data on one display.
The unit supports LiveScope live sonar for monitoring fish, lure and structure movement in the water. The GT56UHD-TM transducer package adds traditional CHIRP, Ultra High-Definition ClearVü beneath the boat and Ultra High-Definition SideVü on both sides. The non-transducer version suits systems with an existing compatible transducer or a custom sonar installation.
GPS, navigation and mapping
Support for Garmin Navionics+ and Garmin Navionics Vision+ provides detailed coastal and inland charts plus optional advanced views. Multi-band GPS improves positioning accuracy in challenging environments. Quickdraw Contours creates personal depth maps, while the ActiveCaptain app manages charts, software updates and user data.
Connectivity and system expansion
Compatible ECHOMAP Ultra 2 units can share sonar, waypoints and routes wirelessly. Screenshot capture records interesting sonar returns or productive locations for later reference and sharing. NMEA 2000 networking displays data from compatible engines, sensors and other onboard electronics.
