Detailed description
FishFinder 650 Plus combines a 6-inch portrait WVGA display, Garmin CHIRP sonar, ClearVü scanning and precise GPS navigation. It is a 2-in-1 solution for anglers who want to monitor the underwater image, save fishing locations and navigate reliably back to selected points on one display. The keypad interface is straightforward and the portrait screen shows a substantial water column.
The 600 W RMS traditional CHIRP sonar transmits a range of frequencies from low to high, producing clearer fish arches and improved target separation compared with conventional single-frequency sonar. ClearVü scanning adds a near-photographic view beneath the boat, revealing fish, rocks, vegetation, wrecks and other underwater structure.
GPS, navigation and mapping
The unit supports GPS, GLONASS and BeiDou satellite systems and can store up to 12,000 accurate waypoints. Fishing locations, shoals, hazards, harbours and other important points can be saved and revisited. The large waypoint capacity is useful for anglers working across many waters or maintaining a long-term database of productive locations.
Connectivity and system expansion
NMEA 0183 and RS422 connections support compatible third-party sensors, navigation equipment and accessories. This makes the model flexible enough for a simple stand-alone installation or integration into a larger onboard system. The IPX7 housing and marine mounting arrangement support permanent console installation.
