Detailed description
ECHOMAP Plus 42cv is a compact 4.3-inch chartplotter and fishfinder combination for smaller boats, kayaks and helms with limited console space. Its sunlight-readable colour display and keypad provide a clear view of navigation and sonar. The quick-release cradle connects power and data, allowing the display to be removed easily after use.
The GT20-TM transducer package provides traditional CHIRP sonar and ClearVü scanning. CHIRP separates fish and bottom detail, while ClearVü presents structures beneath the boat in a more detailed scanning view. The non-transducer version suits boats that already have a compatible transducer or require a different installation solution.
GPS, navigation and mapping
Built-in GPS stores waypoints, creates routes and displays boat speed. Quickdraw Contours builds personal HD depth maps while underway, allowing bottom contours on poorly charted lakes or coastal waters to be collected over time. The microSD slot supports compatible marine charts and user-data storage.
Operation and viewing modes
Split-screen layouts allow chart and sonar to be monitored at the same time. A-Scope, UltraScroll, Auto Gain, Fish Symbol ID, bottom lock, water-temperature logging and the adjustable depth line help tailor the sonar image to fishing conditions. IPX7 water protection and a robust mount suit normal marine use.
