Detailed description

FishFinder 350 Plus is a fishfinder with a 6-inch portrait WVGA colour display, combining Garmin HD-ID target technology and ClearVü scanning sonar. The 480 × 800 portrait screen shows a long section of the water column and is well suited to comparing traditional sonar and ClearVü views. Keypad operation remains simple and quick in waves or with wet hands.

The 300 W RMS sonar output and support for 50/77/200 kHz frequencies allow operation in shallow and deeper water. Traditional HD-ID displays fish, bottom and depth, while ClearVü scanning creates a near-photographic picture of objects and structure below the boat. Combining the two helps distinguish fish from vegetation, rocks, submerged timber and other bottom features.

Operation and viewing modes

A dedicated PAGE key provides rapid access to the most frequently used views. Holding the key allows up to five favourite pages to be configured, giving one-touch access to traditional sonar, ClearVü, split views and data pages. A night colour mode reduces excessive screen brightness and improves readability during early-morning, evening or night operation.

Split-screen zoom, UltraScroll, Fish Symbol ID, Auto Gain, bottom lock, the adjustable depth line and A-Scope adapt the display to different fishing styles. A-Scope shows targets moving through the beam in real time, UltraScroll keeps fish visible at higher boat speeds and Auto Gain reduces clutter without hiding important targets.

Installation and operating environment

The housing, updated connector arrangement and robust mounting bracket are designed for normal marine conditions. The IPX7 rating protects against spray, rain and temporary immersion. A multilingual interface supports international users. The included DB transducer provides the underwater signal required for traditional sonar and ClearVü operation.
